CFSC gives you the data and insights to make the best decisions possible about marketing your products, services, or ideas.

Case Study: New Payment Option Concept Validation

Challenge A large bank wanted to offer business clients a new method of accepting customer payments, but did not know whether a need existed or which features would resonate with potential users.
Solution CFSC first developed a questionnaire based on our market knowledge, then conducted telephone interviews with bank clients to evaluate interest in the new concept and its potential features. Using a thorough qualitative and quantitative evaluation, we ranked the popularity of proposed features and benefits and assessed the impact of interviewees’ concerns. Finally, we outlined the optimal conditions for successfully rolling out the new payment option.
Result The bank is scheduled to make a decision regarding further research and rollout based on CFSC’s initial research findings.
Client Assessment “CFSC’s level of service was better than other firms I have worked with. CFSC gave us valuable insights into our potential product’s merchant value proposition, which is a key data point in the go-forward decision.” —VP, Business Development

Additional Project Examples

Evaluated the competitive environment for the retail brokerage business, including macro-economic conditions and consumer confidence; competitor performance, strategies, issues, and activities; and relevant tactics among insurance companies. To help the client achieve its goal, CFSC interviewed competitor employees and industry experts and synthesized publicly available information.

2. Conducted research to identify new consumer segments and market opportunities. Employing online and telephone research techniques, CFSC identified market segments based on a demographic profile. After conducting competitive analysis and profiling, we provided recommendations for positioning, terms, underwriting, and channel use.

3. Performed in-depth analysis to understand the best practices of successful online companies, brokers and banks. CFSC analyzed data from more than 25 companies and interviewed over 30 online vendors, industry analysts and companies.
