CFSC can help you identify, structure, and manage your partnerships, vendor relationships, and joint marketing programs.

Case Study: Credit Card Program Launch

Challenge A bank and a credit card issuer had launched a cobranded credit card, with limited success. Both wished to re-launch the program and needed assistance managing the relationship.
Solution Working on behalf of the credit card issuer but with the bank’s needs at the forefront, CFSC developed a comprehensive plan to improve cardholder adoption. We first evaluated both partner organizations as well as the existing partnership to identify key launch barriers, then created a launch plan that drew buy-in from both parties. For six months until re-launch, we provided project management support, facilitating communication between the parties to resolve issues and plan solutions.
Result The product re-launched on time and on budget, generating “great response” from the target market.
Client Assessment “It was very helpful to have CFSC involved to keep both parties on target. As a result, we successfully launched our promotion in time for the holidays and saw a great response. The CFSC team was able to identify the important issues up front, help the two sides communicate those issues, and plan solutions effectively. CFSC helped lay the groundwork for us to expand on a great product. Now we can focus on sales and promotions, rather than customer service or logistics.”   —Marketing Project Manager

Additional Project Examples

1. Identified a telemarketing vendor to provide a smooth transition while our client was selling its credit card portfolio. Evaluated proposals from five inbound telemarketing firms, including costs for programming, training customer service representatives, and ongoing program management. CFSC ultimately recommended that the client continue to use its existing vendor.

2. Assessed the costs and benefits for a national bank that was considering moving from a single check vendor to a dual check vendor relationship. Prioritized administrative changes that would need to be made by the client in the event of such a move. Recommended specific check vendors to meet the client’s needs.
